Ageless Beauty Spas was founded with the desire and passion to make a difference in the senior care beauty industry. The Ageless Beauty mission is to create the highest level of service and product for the aging and memory care population within senior living communities as well as In-Home care locations.
Beyond the spa services which we provide, each of our employees are required to be Age-Certified, an educational and awareness experience covering possible physical limitations, memory care, and beyond, giving the highest level of compassion and knowledge in the industry. We adapt to our clients' needs every step of the way.
Salon services with Ageless Beauty Spas, are designed to accommodate the possible limitations of our clients through sensory-pleasing aesthetics, functional and safe custom-designed equipment, and custom-formulated products, whether provided In-Salon or In-Home.
Meredith has been a hairdresser for over 24 years. At age 24, Meredith purchased a salon, re-branded it to the "day spa" concept, hired a professional staff, and marketed to the community. With these innovations and hard work she turned a profit within seven months of owning her spa and after 14 successful years took some well-deserved time off.
When Meredith decided to return, she saw an ad for a hairdresser at a senior living community. The light bulb went off! Meredith started researching salon services for the aging. It became apparent very quickly that this is a much underserved market. She decided to launch Ageless Beauty Spas with her long time friend and business partner, Lisa Hannah.
After graduating from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, with an emphasis in finance, Lisa worked at RCM Capital representing institutional clients for the senior portfolio management team. She left the company with a senior partner to create a unique sell-side research firm, Off The Record Research. Lisa led sales and marketing efforts, producing top sales within the first two years of business.
While raising her three daughters, Lisa consulted, trained and funded women-run businesses. She re-united with her long time friend, Meredith La Noire to create Ageless Beauty Spas. Lisa's role within the company is to market and brand the salon concept as well as create and facilitate the curriculum and certification required for each employee.
Lisa and Meredith's complimentary skills have been a perfect match in creating Ageless Beauty Spas.
"Meredith has been taking care of my hair for about 15 years, both in her shop and since she started her new, terrifically convenient, In-Home service. My friends are so envious!
Never, in all these years, has she let me down. She always shows up when she says she will (or calls long in advance if she must change). And if I have to make a change she is never grumpy about it. She understands that things happen, which not every hairdresser does!
But my favorite thing about her is that she doesn't let me get stuck in a rut. She knows my hair, what works and what doesn't and when to try a new look or a new product.
Because I am sometimes on medications that affect how color takes, she varies the formula so that I don't come out a color other than what was intended.
If we both decide that a cut or a color was not quite right, it is cheerfully corrected.
Having Meredith to cut and color my hair makes me feel more confident about how I look, when, at this age, almost nothing else does!
Every time I see her, she makes my day brighter and my mirror happier."
At Ageless Beauty Spas we have differentiated ourselves by creating salons designed specifically to accommodate our clientele as well as requiring each of our employees to be Age-Certified and thus providing the highest level of care and compassion with regards to possible physical limitations, memory care and beyond. Our employees not only want to work with senior community residents, but are trained to do so.
At Ageless Beauty Spas we work with families and coordinate with care providers to deliver an In-Salon experience in the home. Our compassionate staff is Age-Certified and security-screened. Our employees not only want to work with In-Home clients, but are trained to do so.
New in 2012!
Our specially formulated product line is based on Dead Sea minerals and blended with ingredients from nature.
All of our employees are required to be Age-Certified. The certification process consists of online training courses covering the physical, emotional, and memory care issues of the aging and dementia/ Alzheimer client.
Each employee must pass a series of tests and describe best-case scenarios of a real-life situations that may arise in a salon or an In-Home setting. The certification must be renewed each year. Mandatory monthly training updates must be completed as well.
Ageless Beauty Spas can also provide our Aging Certification for your employees. The training is an on-line program in which your employees must engage in the material provided and pass on-line tests after each series. They must also demonstrate a deep understanding of the material with a real-life scenario case-study. The certification will enable your employees to best understand the issues of your aging clientele - physical, emotional and memory care. Ensuring that your clients will be cared for with the highest level of compassion and knowledge.
Ageless Beauty Spas has taken great care in selecting aesthetically pleasing and functional equipement with our clients' needs in mind. However because some pieces could not be found on the market to meet our standards we have begun developing our own line of custom-manufactured, age-specific equipment. Available in 2012.
